    Default restorepkg prechecks...

I'm not sure if this would be a bug or a feature request, but here goes ..

It would be nice to have domain checking during restorepkg. Username checking is not enough as it will continue on with the account creation and wreck havoc. More so if the domain is created as an addon/parked and then a fullbackup was restored. It goes on with creating the account while leaving the conflicting configurations to manually edit each time.

On the subject, it would also be good to see an ownership flag.

    For example:

    /scripts/restorepkg backupuser /path/cpmove-backupuser.tar.gz --owner reselleruser

    And possibly a --disableshell (y|n)

A toggle in tweak settings to globally disable shell access during backup restores would be ideal as well for those that don't offer SSH and do plenty of migrations.

Side tip. We use a "post" account create script hook to do things like what you mentioned automatically disabling shell, reseller privs, etc at account creation time.

Yeah, I already have a bash restore script that invokes restorepkg and the other things after restore. I guess I'll read up on perl a bit and toss in a domain check after extraction in the script itself.

It would be nice have these features available instead of having to pounce through servers for upkeep though.

I never really thought about implementing this through hooks during the creation process. Thanks for the idea, I'll check that out as well.
