Default Migration of cpanel server from old to new server

    Hi Expperts,

I have to migrate full cpanel server from old to new with all user accounts , sites , emails , databases, passwords and everything.

I need to transfer everything from old to new cpanel server.

    OS : centos linux.

Please guide me for this project.

And also show me any limitation or any specific things on which i must have to mind.

    Regards,
    Benjamin

    Hey Benjamin !

Can you please go through the below given option.

Main >> Transfers >> Copy multiple accounts/packages from another server

It will help you in complete server migration. After going through it let me know if you have any doubts.

To expand on what cPtechie told you, you should find the following documentation helpful:

    Transfers
Copy Multiple Accounts/Packages from Another Server

Also, you can copy your EasyApache profile and many cPanel settings to a new server before installing cPanel, and those settings will be used when cPanel is installed. This will decrease the amount of work you will need to do to make the new server's configuration match that of the old one. The following documentation explains how to do this:

    Advanced Options: cPanel Pre-Installation
    Apache Pre-Installation Configuration for cPanel

I did want to expand on cloning the existing settings when migrating from one cPanel machine to another cPanel machine. This post might be useful in what files you can copy over to the new machine in order to have the same settings as the old one for cPanel, Apache and exim settings:
