Hi ,

I would be pleased to have a script for server migration between two cpanel servers.

Suppose i want to transfer an account for one user to another cpanel server, pls help me with a script to do the same?

how the backups of the account is taken too?

If root access is available for both servers, this can be done via the transfer tools in the user interface of WHM.

Main >> Transfers >> Copy Multilple Accounts

If root is not available on the source server, but available on the destination, create a full backup via cPanel and transfer it to the destionation server. Place the backup package in the home directory and run

# /scripts/restorepkg (username)

If root is unavailable on both servers, retrieve a full backup from the source server and request that your new provider restore it for you on the new server.

IMO, you should contact your hosting provider, they will definitely transfer all your accounts for free.
