Do you still have your cPanel password for the account?

I might be able to help there.
If you can login to your cPanel, find and click the MySQL Databases icon.
On the next page scroll down to find the MySQL Users section and look around there for your username whatever it might be. For example you might see cpanelfa_john, cpanelfa is the cPanel user account name and john is the database user name.

You want to change john's password so you'd type in that username where it says add user, you type john. Next type in johns new password, twice. Save and you're done there.

Now you'll have to edit the configuration file for the script that uses this database to reflect this password change you just made.

    GL!
