Default Accounts and subdomains not resolving?

    Hello,

I am running all the latest stable cPanel software, on a CentOS box, and I've been having some problems with creating new accounts and subdomains. I create the accounts, I create the subdomains, and they will not resolve. ex: I create test01.mydomain.com, but it keeps coming up Address Not Found.

/log/messages does not reveal anything except a missing "named.conf" file, which does exist, I made sure of it. My nameservers are located at zoneedit.com.

RECAP: I make an accounts for a client and it wont resolve
I make subdomains on my primary domain, they wont resolve

I'm not too good with DNS or any of that, so the most "noobish" explanation would be appreciated, and any more information you need, just let me know and ill replay back with it all

    Thanks all!

EDIT: I'd also like to do i think wildcard dns where all my new accounts and subdomains resolve instantly, but i cant quite figure it out, thanks!

You should verify the DNS for your site at http://www.intodns.com/. It will show that where the problem lies. If you are using external Nameservers then you should disable DNS (BIND) in Server Manager in WHM.

ok i disabled bind, and i went to the site you gave me, there were no problems. Anytime i go to a subdomain it just bring me to the main account.

    ex: sub.mydomain.com goes to mydomain.com

I added the wildcard A entry to my dns at my nameserver, what else should i do?

    Thanks
