Add-on domain renaming?
Hello - I recently purchased a second domain and then added it via the cpanel add-on domain feature (my hosting package allows additional domains). However, in cpanel when I pull up Awstats for the 2nd domain, the name of the domain is a derivative of the original domain I hosted using cpanel. It looks like this:
originaldomain.com (original domain with actual url) number2/originaldomain.com (recently purchased second domain's name after adding via cpanel) What I would rather have is the 2nd domain show up like this: seconddomain.com (the actual url of the newly purchased site) not number2/originaldomain.com Can anyone help with this? I will admit that it was confusing when I originally inputted the the information for the add-on domain as follows: New Domain Name: seconddomain.com Subdomain/Ftp Username: number2 Document Root: home/seconddomain.com Password: Password Strength 0/100)Password (Again): Bottom line is that I want to get rid of (rename?) the "number2/originaldomain.com" and then have two entirely unique domain names hosted by my one provider and accessible via cpanel. I would really appreciate some help here, sorry to trouble you. |
