Add Remote Host

What I am trying to do is this.

I have a couple guys that travel around the world and they have to access
the database we just set up yesterday (with your help that is)

They have the front end to the database on their laptops and the tables are
in a database in mysql. The issue is that were ever they are accessign the databse from will have a different ip address each time. say once in a hotel in Spain and the next week he could be in Africa. so he would be gaining access from a different ip address (remote host)

so as it stand right now I would have to know his ip address so I could add
it to the "Remote MySQL"/"Add Remote Host"

What I want to do is write a "little.net app" This will be located on a laptop, that will run first. What
it will do is detect his current ip address and then it will log into the
server, add thsi ip address to the "Remote MySQL"/"Add Remote Host" and then tell him he is ready to go. then when he is done with his work the
"little.net app" will log into the server and remove that ip address from
the list. So, I am trying to figure out how to command line into the server and add and remove a IP to the "Remote MySQL"/"Add Remote Host".

FYI: These are "Sales Guys" there is no way I will let them log into cpanel to add there current IP address. :-)

What about granting them permission to access the database, without host restriction?

something like:
mysql> grant all on dbname.* to 'salesuser'@'%' identified by 'newpassword';
