Addon domain without newdomain.olddomain.com

Hi.

I bought & set up a domain a while ago. I then decided to get one more, and I then added that domain as an addon domain.

Now, the problem is that I want to have complete separation between these domains, but cPanel doesn't seem to do that by default. I am talking about the newDomain.oldDomain.com link that's listed in the subdomains listing.

When I try to remove the entry I get this error message;
"Sorry, the subdomain jabberjab cannot be removed because it is linked to the addon domain jabberjab.com. You must first remove the addon domain."

Any ideas on how to solve this?

There are some remnants of it that need to manually be removed. You should check in /var/cpanel/users/ and also the httpd.conf
