    Post Basic

    Hello guys,

Recently struck a lucrative job to design and host a website. I have never done that before and i consider myself illiterate on such issues. Am ready to learn though.

Someone please tell me, how do i upload my website files from the Cpanel homepage?

You'd either want to create an FTP account and use an FTP program like FileZilla, SmartFTP, CuteFTP, WS_FTP, FlashFXP or any other FTP program to upload them to the /www or /public_html or /htdocs (or httpdocs) folder.

Otherwise, you'd want to use the "File Manager" link in cPanel which will give you an online version of an FTP client. You then browse to the web root (usually /www or /public_html or /httpdocs or /htdocs) and then upload the appropriate files and folders.
