Perhaps I posted this in the wrong section:
I am setting up a system that will offer members of a group web hosting. Some will have domains some will not, but I will need them all to load under similar simple addresses as well as their own domain if they have one. I was wondering if WHM/Cpanel would be able to do the following:
I want some users that have their own domains to have a normal cpanel account. Their pages will appear under their domain, but I also need their pages to appear as a subdirectory of my domain.
I also want users that do Not have their own domain to just appear as a subdirectory of my domain, and to have access to a simpler form of the cpanel gui.
I know i can give each a different skin with access to just the features they should have in the gui, I am mostly interested in if cpanel will allow the two forms of page access.
So for example:
user1:
pages appear as http://www.someuserdomain.com and http://member.mydomain.com/user1/ (or http://member.mydomain.com/~user1/ or similar)
has Cpanel web gui access with email, FTP, stats, etc.
user2:
pages only appear as http://member.mydomain.com/user2/
has Cpanel web gui access with only the web based FTP & stats.
user3:
pages appear as http://www.anotheruserdomain.com and http://member.mydomain.com/user3/
has Cpanel web gui access with email, FTP, stats, etc.
user4:
pages only appear as http://members.mydomain.com/user2/
has Cpanel web gui access with only the web based FTP & stats.
