Cannot Access Editors from Nav Bar, Can from Right-Click Menu

Hi all,

I have added an account with cPanel after years of using GoDaddy's proprietary panel.

When in the cPanel File Manager (looks like cPanel 10), I can only invoke the file editor by using the right-click menu. When I select a file and try to invoke either the text Editor or Code Editor, the load progress bar appears and the interface hangs at that point.

I tested the same issue with the cPanel demo version and the nav bar buttons worked fine after I added the domain to my popup filter.

Why will my host's nav bar buttons result in a freeze, but the right-click menu works fine?

I would ask the host to ensure they are using the latest version of cPanel/WHM for the respective build tree the server is configured to use, such as STABLE, RELEASE, CURRENT, or EDGE, as seen via our downloads site with build version information:
