Default Can't access Cpanel...or webmail [moved]

    Hey,

Just wondering what the solution would be as I can't get into my cpanel at kymozols.com/cpanel

This is somewhat frustrating. My webmail/mail won't allow me either. I can access FTP and the actual http site, but yeah, no cpanel or webmail...

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Kym

Did you try going to port 2082 and logging in there?

    in ssh type

    service cpanel restart
    or

    /scripts/upcp --force

To verify the rules of its firewall
    open ports 2082,2083,2086 and 2087

I just started getting the same problem ....

However, what is actually going on is that the "httpd.conf" file is being rebuilt
and the "/whm", "/cpanel", and "/webmail" aliases are being omitted.

Since the cpanel update 2 days ago, we've had the aliases vanish from the
httpd.conf file at least 15 times and this is getting very annoying and frustrating.

Anyone have any idea what file cpanel uses as the master file to automatically
rebuild the httpd.conf when you add / delete sites, etc?

The good news: The real cpanel address http://domain.com:2082/ works!

The bad news: The users don't know to go there and only use /cpanel

(I have since seen this same problem duplicated on 15 other servers starting
after performing a cpanel update this week which tells me bad update)
