I can't get SSH working, is there a way to reinstall it?

ssh: connect to address xx.xx.xx.xx port 22: Connection refused

Can you SSH to the server? If not, is telnet enabled?

Login to your whm and select the 'install rpm' link

Check the force install option and reinstall the openssh rpms, hopefully that will get you back running.

Did you modify the /etc/ssh/sshd_config file per chance?

What led to ssh failing ?

i would have to say you need physical access to the box or have the datacenter look at it.
