can't login into user account

hi

i tried to login using a user account i just made and used https://cpanel:2083
but everytime i get Login Attempt Failed!

does anyone know a fix orsomething, cuz i can root login into https://cpanel:2087?

cPanel is running on CentOS (as a VPS)

you can login to cpanel as following way:

http://yourdomain.com:2082

https://yourdomain.com:2083 ( Secure)

login with correct username and pass.

yes, that is correct, but if your domain is not pointed to your server then login to the control panel using the IP:

so format should be: http://server_ip:2082
and to view the site : http://server_ip/~username
