Default Change home and MySQL paths

    Hi.

I want to install a cPanel over Amazon ec2, i read this is posible.

My setup will be something like this:

    • 1 Instance - 1.7 GB of memory, 160 GB of local instance storage, 32-bit platform (CentOS)
    • 1 EBS ( External storage 20G to start)

On this EBS "/mnt/persistent" i want to store the account home and the MySQL databases and logs.

    • /mnt/persistent/mysql
    • /mnt/persistent/acounts
    • /mnt/persisten/logs

so if i want to change the instance, the info will be safe and then, i will just mount a new instance with the cPanel stuff and mount all the info.

    My questions are:

Can i change the path from the home, mysql, logs in WHM/cPanel?
Does this setup will work with cPanel?

    Thanks in advance

    Default

MySQL, you could set your database storage anywhere you wish in /etc/my.cnf

    Regarding your /home question ....

Is there some reason you could not mount or alias that location as /home, /home2, or something along those lines?
