Does anyone know if it's possible to change the URL of CPanel? I'd like to change it
from: http://domain.com/cpanel
to: http://domain.com/cpaneladmin
Also, is it possible to change the port?
from: http://domain.com:208#
to: http://domain.com:20##

add another scritpalias to httpd.conf
ScriptAlias /cpaneladmin /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/redirect.cgi
as for the port i dont know
The settings for having http://example.com/cpanel redirect to http(s)://example.com:208X are present in the main Apache configuration - /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf - the settings related to /cpanel, /whm and /webmail are all grouped together so they should be easy enough to spot.
Concerning the port, I don't believe it can be changed due to it being hard-coded into cPanel's bits and pieces.

I just asked because I have two websites that show up as different ports when I log into their CPanels.
Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction![]()
Look in /usr/local/cpanel/etc/ports
