Changing MX/A records

HI Everyone, I'm trying to change the MX records for my domain to point to an internal mail server at our company and I'm a little puzzled about how to go about this.

The documentation on my cpanel states that to modify your MX records you "Click on Modify Mail Exchanger (MX Entry)". However, this link is nowhere in my Cpanel.

The WHM tools are puzzling me too, I'm no stranger to DNS and have used other hosted DNS servers in the past and have never had any confusion. All I want to do is add an 'A' record and set my MX to point to this new record. Should be simple.

Our documentation is for the x3 theme. I know some third party themes hide some functionality. Are you using the x3 theme? You can see what the x3 theme looks like by clicking this link:

http://x3demob.cpx3demo.com:2082/log...b&pass=x3demob

As you will see in our demo, the "MX Entry" icon is in the "Mail" section.

If you do not see this icon and you are using the x3 theme, it is likely your hosting provider has disabled this functionality. In that case, I recommend contacting them for assistance.

As for WHM, many hosting providers do not enable DNS functionality for their resellers. If you do not see the DNS Functions section of WHM, and you need to add an A record, I recommend you contact your hosting provider.
