    Default Copy Mailing Lists

    Hello,
I would like to be able to copy a mailman mailing list. I have root ssh, so I just copied one mailing list folder and renamed it to something else. That almost works, but it won't let me change the list's name in the new list. This mailing list has around a thousand subscribers, so I can't really go and type each email address in a newly created list. Is there either a way to change the name, or a way to successfully copy a mailing list and name it something else?
    Thanks,

    Matt

    1. Create the new mailing list.
    2. use /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/bin/config_list -o <filename> <original listname>
    3. edit <filename> and modify <original mailing list> specific details to <new mailing list> specific details
    4. use /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/bin/list_members [options] <listname> > exportfile.txt
    5. use that exportfile.txt to do a mass subscription in the new mailing list

This isn't pretty but it will do.

Ok, thank you very much. Looks like I can handle that.
