    Default Cpanel and Adsl.

    Hi All,

    For some reason I can log into cpanel using normal dial-up modem but not adsl.

    Do you have a firewall installed on your broadband connection?

    Your router or ISP is blocking the port. Try going to the other port 2087 or 2086.

    You might have to run a proxy server on your computer, if you search there are a few threads at mention how to set this up. Unforunatly some ISP's are really a pain and as others have mentioned might block weird ports.

    You can use another ISP's DNS servers.. IE- you can use Bellsouth or Earthlink all on the same connection so long as your dsl provider is not MSN or AOL, etc...
