cPanel CGI scripts not working.

Hello,

i installed CGI scripts from cpanel and the script is located in the cgi-bin folder.

When i access the file domainname/cgi.cgi i get a 404 not found error.

Please help.

Hello,

Please make sure you are calling the script from within the cgi-bin folder and not just from the root directory of the domain.

You may want to open a support request regarding this issue if you are properly referencing the file as in the cgi-bin when attempting to access it as the problem would then more than likely require remote access to troubleshoot.

i have the script in the cgi-bin folder. and have tried accessing them using all possible appropriate URLs.

Let me know what else can be done.

At this time, I'd recommend you go ahead and create a support ticket with us so that we can have remote access to the server and identify what the specific problem may be. There are too many variables for the forums to be an appropriate support venue for this issue.
