cPanel licence - after every reboot, I think

I'm having to run /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt an awful lot, it seems. I think it's after every server reboot, although I'm not sure of that correlation yet, so don't take it as sure...

Is there anything I can check? If it *is* reboot related - is there perhaps something that I can check for that might not be running on boot?

(disclaimer: I'm a Windows geek, but although I can navigate around Linux shell, I'm still rather a newbie)

I recommend letting our technical analysts take a look at the server so we can determine why you are encountering this situation so frequently. You can contact our technical analysts at: http://tickets.cPanel.net/submit

Submitted a ticket, never heard anything back, although I saw techs logged into my server.

Problem is now I can't find the email with the ticket number, because searching my email for keywords like "root" or "cpanel" return a bajillion emails. :-(

I would go out on a limb here and guess you are running a VPS server?

I have seen a number of occasions where a misconfigured VPS server in the underlying VPS setup causes the Cpanel license to blow up every time the VPS server is rebooted.

I'd submitted the ticket without logging in as I went direct instead of asking my datacenter to open the ticket. heh. :FAIL: on my part, in hindsight.

I hate to open another ticket to ask them if they can find my first one, but I think I might have to. :-/ I only hate to bother them...

Dedicated, sorry. Although could still be a issue with the OS somehow, I suppose. Thanks for the reply

You should be receiving replies via email if you submitted a ticket from us. The first email is sent to you when your ticket has been entered into our system, letting you know what ticket ID number has been assigned to the issue.

If you did not receive this email, feel welcome to submit a ticket using a different email address, letting our technical analysts know you didn't receive any of our emails the last time you submitted a ticket.
