    Default cpanel pricing isn't senseful

    Hello,
i'm currently thinking about buying a owned license (no more avaible - so i want a 1 year license) and i made this thoughts:

    15$ * 12 = 180$ - this is the price for cpanel VPS monthly
    200$ * 1 = 200$ - this is the price for cpanel VPS 1 year

It won't make sense to buy the 1 year license because the monthly one is cheaper for one year.

Also i'm using a reseller of cpanel which make this great prices:

    12$ * 12 = 144$ - this is the price for cpanel VPS monthly
    170$ * 1 = 170$ - this is the price for cpanel VPS 1 year

Why i should buy a 1 year license? It doesn't make any sense!

What do you mean? I compared monthly license and 1 year license of reseller and cpanel itself - both are senseless.

Where are you getting these prices from? Every distributor has their own prices, the retail price that distributors sell at are not set by cpanel.

The distributor yes - but cpanel itself should have senseful prices too.

12$ for cpanel vuzzo vps. It's from a provider which give them only with their VPS away.

that's what I meant its a internal price (you can not change Ip's outside your providers network) , cPanel partners get internal licensing cheaper than external licensing and a lot of partners sell at cost or a loss

The distributor yes - but cpanel itself should have senseful prices too.
If cPanel competed aggressively with their partners they would not have any partners (there would be no need for them everyone would buy from cpanel directly) which in turn would not likely be good for cPanel as they would not have Independent companies selling for them
