cpanel via https
Hi.
My web hoster is not able to provide the following: I want to access cpanel through mydomain.de/cpanel and want to transfer name and password using ssl (port 2083). My webhoster told my that this function is only available in a beta version. I do not want to type the port number every time. Just mydomain.de/cpanel. Not mydomain.de:2083 Right now only the unsecure transmission of name and password is given when I use mydomain.de/cpanel. My former webhoster told me that it is a regular function in the stable version. What can I tell my new webhoster which settings are to be made? Thank you for your answers. The Sofiot |

Thank you for your answers.
Let me add something: Is this setting a regular setting in one of the stable versions? (All stable versions? Or just recently added?) My provider told me that this setting is only available in a beta version. And that the cpanel developers told him that this function will be implemented in a further version ... Thank you in advance The Sofiot |
