Default cpanel vs cpanel accelerated webmail control

    Hi,
My company has websites hosted with 2 different services.
one uses cpanel and the other uses cpanel acceserated.

With the cpanel eccelerated site, email users can log onto their web mail accounts and have the ability to set forwarding and auto-responders from there.

I have been unable to find this capability on the webmail accounts on our cpanel site.

Is there a control in cpanel to 'turn on' this ability for email users to control from their web mail?

    Thanks,
    MPaul

cPanel Accelerated is just a newer version of our software, it's not a separate product.

Regarding finding these capabilities in your webmail accounts, are these capabilities enabled on the cPanel account to which these webmail accounts belong?

The difference between the 2 is the host without "cpanel accelerated"
is using an old version of Cpanel on their servers because the "accelerated"
title was added in the newer versions.

Sounds like you need to speak with your host about upgrading!

Actually I would be a bit worried if the host not showing "accelerated"
were still not showing it because that would make me wonder if they
are doing any updates at all since the "accelerated" title was added
a fairly good while ago. And the reason I say "worried" is quite a few
exploits have been discovered and if they aren't doing any upgrades
at all, they probably aren't getting the latest system updates or
security patches and their servers might be vulnerable.

Indeed, you should speak to your hosting provider in order to upgrade your cPanel Version.
