Default cpanellogd runs at Not-Allowed hours

    Hi,

I just configured WHM/Server Configuration >> Statistics Software Configuration and checked some hours that "i would like log analysis NOT to be performed."

but i just noticed that my server load gets high on some specific hours and find follwoing processes then :

    Code:
    root 15479 0.0 0.0 3660 1432 ? S 01:23 0:00 /usr/bin/perl /scripts/runweblogs mmuser
    root 15480 0.0 0.2 18652 9736 ? S 01:23 0:01 cpanellogd - loading config for mmuser
    mmuser 15548 0.0 0.1 18652 7368 ? S 01:23 0:00 cpanellogd - http logs for mmuser
    mmuser 15549 0.0 0.0 1652 412 ? S 01:23 0:00 /usr/local/cpanel/bin/logrunner 2.0 /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/english/webalizer -N 10 -D /home/mmuser/tmp/webalizer/dns_cache.db -R 250 -p -n notshown.com -o /home/mmuser/tmp/webalizer /usr/local/apache/domlogs/notshown.com
    mmuser 15550 0.0 0.0 3508 1260 ? TNs 01:23 0:00 /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/english/webalizer -N 10 -D /home/mmuser/tmp/webalizer/dns_cache.db -R 250 -p -n notshown.com -o /home/mmuser/tmp/webalizer /usr/local/apache/domlogs/notshown.com
how could i prevent logrunner not to be performed on pre-defined hours ?

    This should help you.

    Whm --> Tweak Settings

Number of days between processing log files and bandwidth usage -

Enter the number of days between processing log files and bandwidth usage in the adjacent field. Decimal values are allowed.

Is it possible that logrunner began its task before the blackout hours and is just completing its task? Or is logrunner beginning to process additional domains during these blackout hours?

    I have the same problem:

    Running

    cPanel 11.24.5-R37946 - WHM 11.24.2 - X 3.9 CENTOS 5.3 i686 virtuozzo

Log is scheduled to run between 2-5am from WHM/Server Configuration >> Statistics Software Configuration. Whm --> Tweak Settings >>Number of days between processing log files = 1
Running on my vps, and the sites aren't even live, so I assume it shouldn't take even 1 hour to analyze the logs.
Server tie is correct, I've checked.

Still, at any given time I have something like this:

    root 1960 0.0 0.3 3744 1760 ? SN 10:55 0:00 cpanellogd - waiting for child to process logs
    root 3189 0.0 1.3 15476 7004 ? SN 10:55 0:00 cpanellogd - Waiting for proper hour to scan logs.

    Anything else I should try?
15mb process just waiting to start working is a bit excessive IMHO, especially when there's another process waiting for something...
