basically my question is, when im creating an account i have to put in a domain!!!!

but what if the client hasnt got one, would could i do?

You could just put a fake domain in and edit his account when he get's a propper domain

You can always create a sub-domain using your clients name, under the host name.

Agreed, and from experience I highly recommend using a TLD that blatantly looks fake... like .fake for example . It will help ease any confusion later on if that person owns that domain or if you entered it as a fake domain.

If you go to Tweak Security (or Security Center in version 11) in the WHM interface under Security, you can enable mod_userdir so they can access their website by going to http://IPAddress/~username where IPAddress is the IP Address of the server and username is their username.
