Question Creating links from my Joomla site to non-Joomla pages

To be more specific, I'm attempting to learn how to create non-Joomla pages that can be accessed through my Joomla site. I know how to create these pages using Kompozer, but I don't know how to make them accessible. They will be example pages for MySpace layouts, and other content. I'm assuming I can upload the pages through cPanel and keep them in a folder within public_html, but I don't know what to do afterwards if thats the case.

    Here's an example: http://www.myspacelayouts.org/layouts/Cars/blue-bugatti.html

If you click on the giant thumbnail, it will let you preview the layout. That is essentially what I want to do with my site.

And I appologize in advance to anyone who might be bombarded with ads on this site. It's not as bad as most of them are however, and I haven't had a problem with popup ads.

Please let me know if I need to be more specific.

    Thanks!

This forum is for cPanel system administrators, not for support of Joomla.

    Try this one instead. http://forum.joomla.org/

I already went there for help. This is a "cPanel" question! If you click the link above (which wasn't working earlier, but now is) you will see what I'm trying to do. Do the preview pages have to be loaded to cPanel's public_html? If so, what do I do then?

    Thanks.

There is nothing cPanel-specific about the question you posted above. Additionally, Joomla is not bundled with cPanel.

Is there some cPanel-specific issue you are experiencing?

Perhaps I should rephrase my question. What I want is instructions on the correct way to upload a web page (other than my home page). I uploaded a page to a folder labeled "MySpace Layouts". I don't know how to make a link to the page.

Your host can help you with this. That's what you pay them for.

All files to be served to the public go in the public_html folder. If you create a directory called MySpace Layouts inside public_html you might want to consider removing the space in the name, MySpaceLayouts.

There are 1000's of sites online that can help you with basic website support, try google as well.
