    Default Creating Secure FTP Accounts

In the FTP Manager, you can go into FTP Accounts and use Add FTP Account, but the account does not appear to support secure transfer (SSH). The FTP client I use, Fugu, only works with secure transfer (which I prefer anyway). Is there a way in cPanel to create FTP accounts that will work with Fugu?

you have to have shell access enabled for the domain, and you can only have one per domain

Are you referring to jailshell? I already have that setup on my account so that I can use secure FTP to transfer files to my web site. However, this need is different. I need to create an FTP account to give to a friend or client so we can exchange large files.

there will be only 1 SFTP account be available in Cpanel which is the main FTP account ( the CpanelUserName ). Additional FTP account you setup in Cpanel will not be having SFTP support.
