    Default delete files through manager

    hi on my webhost not one can delete files through file manager,deleting files through ftp is ok . can anyone suggest a solution for this

    Your host can better assist you with this, it may be a file permission problem.

    they told me its an cpanel problem

    If your host suspects a problem with their cPanel installation on that server they should put in a ticket with cPanel support for assistance.

    Please ask the web hosting service provider to check the cPanel error_log for logged detail while attempting to remove a test file (and or one of the problematic files you need removed) via your cPanel File Manager; if log detail is available, it should help point towards a specific cause and allow them to determine corrective measures.

    Here is the path to the error_log that may be relayed when contacting the service provider:

    If the service provider believes it may be a cPanel-related issue they are welcome to submit a ticket to contact us directly; the link in my forums signature may be used to initiate a ticket submission, or the link provided by Infopro (essentially the same) may also be used.
