    Question Deleted SELINUX by accident....HELP!

I ordered a dedicated Linux server with Cent OS 5.2 and whilst trying to disable SELINUX I deleted it, doh!

In SSH/Putty, when I run the command:

    vi /etc/selinux/congig

    I get the message:

    "/etc/selinux/config/" Illegal file name

Can this be fixed quickly/easily? Or does Cent OS need to be re-installed?

Is SELINUX (disabled) still needed on the server to install/run cPanel?

    Your help much appreciated!

This is not a requirement for installing cPanel/WHM. We recommend disabling SELINUX because by default it blocks the cPanel/WHM ports, making many people think cPanel/WHM did not fully install when in fact it's simply SELINUX blocking access to the cPanel/WHM software.

This is fine, as long as you don't see any problems, you can leave it the way it is
