Smile Do not ignore this mail about dns

I got this in my mail:

IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
The hostname (server.mydomain.com.net) resolves to . It should resolve to 123.456.789.0. Please be sure to correct /etc/hosts as well as the 'A' entry in zone file for the domain.

Some are all of these problems can be caused by
/etc/resolv.conf being setup incorrectly. Please check this file if you
    believe everything else is correct.

You may be able to automatically correct this problem by using the ' Add an A entry for your hostname ' under ' Dns Functions ' in your Web Host Manager

At the /etc/hosts/ i have this:

    # Auto-generated hostname. Please do not remove this comment.
    123.456.789.0 server.mydomain.com server
    127.0.0.1 localhost
The ip is ok here and i check also the ip in A entry is ok.

When i ping my domain i got the correct ip also there ....

    ?

What happens when you ping "server.mydomain.com.net", does it come up with the correct IP?

    server.mydomain.com server
Yes, as stated, you need a FQDN (fully qualified domain name), and having the extra "server" at the end, does not constitute one, as it would not be accessible.

Go into the Change Hostname link in whm and only type: server.domain.com
Make sure nothing else is in there, no spaces and no extra words.

You should also check the /etc/hosts and make sure they are correct
