Angry Domain forwarding/parking or directing domains

I recently became a WHM and CPanel user and I am now in charge of all web hosting and user account management myself, managing some 20 odd domain names which are currently spread over several web servers and dns servers.

In my previous life as a webmaster I had many of these domain names forward to the same sites, through domain forwarding.

As a WHM reseller I have two user accounts defined, one which has two domain names associated with it, one main and one forwarded, and the other with six domain names (one main and five forwarded).

When I try to park domains in each account in order to establish the domain forwarding effect existing on the previous server setup without CPanel/WHM, I get the following message in CPanel:

    Add Parked Domain

Using nameservers with the following IPs: xxx.xxx.xxx.xx, xxx.xxx.xxx.y
Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not
appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to
this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ip.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.
    /n

I am at a loss here, as ALL domain names currently point to my assigned IP (n), but somehow I cannot get them to point or park.

    What should be done?

A quick fix in this case would be checking the box in tweak settings > Allow Creation of Parked/Addon Domains that resolve to other servers.

This would need to be done by your provider. But for a permanent fix without checking that box, your provider needs to adjust some dns settings.

Also check if the dns of the domains are pointing to your server . Try pinging the domain and check the A record .

you can check the dns report at
