Dumb mail logs question

How can i find out if a certain customer is using their email account (to send mail)?

I'm guessing this would be in mail logs of some sort. Where do I find them? And what kind of commands would I use to locate the specific email account? grep?

grep eamil@domain.com /var/log/exim_mainlog

it will display it.

Another handy command for watching mail log activity in real time is:
tail -f /var/log/exim_mainlog
