File and folder permission problem [moved]

Hi:

I just started reselling webhosting with cpanel. Today I opened a few accounts by using WHM, and later all of my clients were saying that once they have changed the .php files or folder's permission to 777, all programs writing in PHP were not working. Showing "Internal Server Error", anyone knows why did it happen and how to fix it?

I would guess that your web hosting provider has phpsuexec enabled which means that you must use 755 for directories. This is something that you'll need to discuss with them.
