Fresh Install, Can't Login

I just installed cPanel, and cannot access WHM using http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:2086/

The installation guide instructs me to use a domain, but I can't use a domain if it's not set up. How can I do this?

Try stoping iptables on your server or check whether it is blocking the required ports. Also check whether there is any firewall on your machine blocking ports 2082, 2083, 2086 and 2087. Restart cpanel service and try again.

BTW, have you received any errors while installation? Also check whether the cPanel licence has been activate for your machine at
http://verify.cpanel.net

Thanks, I'll try that. And http://verify.cpanel.net reports that the license on that machine doesn't expire until 2009. So I'm good there.
