Default FTP Accounts unable to login

    Hey folks,

My primary FTP accounts are working fine, but any new accounts that I create are unable to connect. I get a 331 user OK response from the FTP server, and then a 530 authentication failed message.

I've tried the username, and username@mysite.tld for the login, and I've made sure I'm using the proper credentials. I'm making a folder called "whatever" under public_html, and using it as the home folder for the account. That said, I can't seem to get any of these to connect.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but any insight would be great. Thanks!

The correct username would indeed be username@domain.com for the created FTP user accounts. How are you attempting to connect to FTP for the account? If you are using sFTP, sFTP will not work with created user accounts and only works with the main user. You should be able to use regular FTP or TLS (which uses encryption and is a newer protocol than sFTP) to connect.
