Hello,
we have finished setting up cPanel on our server and have a little issue with anonymous FTP.
We already have around 20 hosts set up, and no matter if we connect to,
ftp.domain1.com
ftp.domain2.com
ftp.domain3.com
or any domain that we host, and when trying to log in as anonymous user, pure-ftpd says Unable to set up secure anonymous FTP.
But if we input anonymous@domain1.com instead of just anonymous it works, and if I'm right this is so that the system check to which domain the anonymous user wishes to connect and down/upload if allowed. Which doesn't bother me personally, but it seems to bother our clients.
Is there anyway to allow anonymous user to connect to FTP server without the @domain.com part? And so that the system would check where the user wishes to go, by the domain he is connecting to?
If this is a problem, all domains point to one and same IP.
