    Default FTP Question

What I want to do is set up a ftp account for people.

I want them to logon to the ftp account, they can only download and upload stuff.

But I want my main cPanel account to be able to do everything including download, upload, rename, move, delete.

    How can I do this?

Someone else may say differently, but I believe you can't easily do that, if at all.

Write access (which allows a user to upload to a directory) also gives the user the right to delete.

Having said that, it may be possible to use a script that monitors the upload directory and when it sees a new file, it changes the owner to something that can't be deleted by the user, but still allows download.
