Default getting blocked by my own website?!

well apparently after i edit/add something to the website, it completely blocks me!
i know its added because i used a proxy to get back on it, but why is it causing these effects?
i asked my friend who owns the website vps and it seems that he can add/remove stuff just fine with out being blocked.
it says connection timed out? and my site is taking too long to respond :|

    Default Solution

Most of the time mod security as well as server firewall is causing the problem.I would like to recommend you to check it sever logs for your local machine ip/ website and copy and paste the logs in this thread if you are not able to understand the error logs ...It will help us to resolve your issue...

If you do not have 'root' access to the server then get your host to check the firewall for any block on your IP. They could also check the logs and tell you why this is happening.
