    Question Help with CGIEMAIL for an Application

    I am new to this - everything dealing with cPanel - and I am trying to use the CGIEMAIL format with HTML to have a model application e-mailed to a specific account.

    I used to use Earthlink's walk through to set up this:

    <form name="Model Application" method="post" action="http://www.domain.com/cgi-bin/mailto">

    I have read and reread the CGI Center's -CGIEMAIL USER GUIDE- but I can't seem to point the action to the right place.

    What I have is this: <form method="post" action="http://www.domain.com/cgi-bin/cgiemail/newmodelapp.txt"> with the file 'newmodelapp.txt' being made in Word saved as USASCII and uploaded to the cgi-bin folder.

    I thought that I had made the E-mail Template correctly, but as I said this is my first time having to create this type of document.

    If anyone would like to take the time to set me straight, I would greatly appreciate it! I'm reachable at webmaster@jrsmultimedia.net - Thanks again.

    Your post action most likely needs to be calling a cgi script not a text file.
