Hello i need install XFileSharing script on my VPS and i need to know how i setup my VPS as ther Requirements

Requirements
Shortlist:

1. Linux OS
2. Apache web server with mod_rewrite module
3. .htaccess files support [/http://www.tutorio.com/tutorial/enable-mod-rewrite-on-apache]
4. Perl higher than 5.007 version
5. Perl LWP module
6. MySQL database
7. DBI, DBD::mysql perl modules
8. GD lib, GD perl module (Optional)

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong here I'm sure, but by the looks of that list, you should be good to go right now. Have you tried to run the script and if yes, what was the result?

That appears to me to be a file permissions issue.

My apologies but this falls outside the scope of support on these forums as this is a custom script you're attempting to work with. You might do better to ask for assistance with configuration on the support forums for that product.

From your error:

cgi-bin/.htaccess: Invalid command 'ewriteEngine'

Look close, you've misspelled RewriteEngine in the htaccess I believe.

One more thing. .htaccess looks like in cgi-bin. You can move it to public_html
