    Smile Hidden folder

    Hello

I was use another panel and now i start using cpanel without any problems exept that i have a folder in my public_html named profile and i can't view it using my ftp prg.

I can view it using the cpanel file manager...

Any idea why my ftp can't view it know?

When you login to FTP, are you going into the public_html directory?

If i use the normal cpanel account yes.

If i use the root i am in a directory before.

I check it only in the first case.

So you log in as the cPanel user, then manually change directory into public_html but still don't see the file?

    Question

And the owner of that folder is the cPanel user, or is it nobody (99)? Sounds to me to be the latter. Although you should still be able to see it.

Do you have access to the "root" user account on this server? If not, I recommend you contact your hosting provider to receive assistance with this issue. If they need assistance, have them contact our technical analysts: http://tickets.cPanel.net/submit
