High server load and high memory use?

What cause this,all we run is a bullitin board and the loads are in the red even when there are only 30 users,why is this?

You'll have to login via the root shell and investigate. If you don't know how, you need to do some reading on the web on managing linux server performance or hire a server administrator to investigate it for you.

Your starting point would be the top command, type in man top for the help pages.
