Hostname and not domain name is shown

When I log to my cpanel accounts at the url there is always the https://hostname:2083 instead of the https://domainname:2083

How do I change this?

If you access cPanel from WHM, hostname will be shown and not the domain name. Do you mean you try to access cPanel using https://domainname:2083 and it automatically changes to https://hostname:2083 ?

under 'Redirection', select the behavior you want:

When visiting /cpanel or /whm or /webmail WITHOUT SSL, you can choose to redirect to:
Hostname Origin Domain Name

When visiting /cpanel or /whm or /webmail with SSL, you can choose to redirect to:
SSL Certificate Name Hostname Origin Domain Name
