Hi, all
I have a situation that goes like this:
- i have a server with cpanel installed which has assigned "x" number of ip addresses
- i have a domain on this server (domain.com)
- for this domain i have 1 subdomain (bar.domain.com)
- for this subdomain i have "y" number of subdomains (foo.bar.domain.com, foo1.bar.domain.com....fooy.bar.domain.com).
What i don't know how to do from cpanel is to assign a different ip address to each foo.bar.domain.com,foo1.bar.domain.com....fooy.bar.domain.com. I need this for various reasons one of them is that i need to install a different ssl certificate to each of this sub sub domains.
From what i noticed cpanel gives you permission to assign an ip address to a subdomain but you can't assign addresses to sub sub domains, it takes by default the subdomain ip.
Ty. paul.
