How do I unblock my ip from my dedicated server

Hello,

I have a new dedicated server and I am also new to cpanel.

My server has blocked me from access due to too many connections from within my ftp software?

I have read other threads on this but not sure of the solution to that problem?

However, first things first, how do I unblock myself?

It appears to have been blocked for over 12 hours now?

Any help or adfvice gladly received.

As far as I'm aware, cPanel itself wont block you.

Have you installed ConfigServer (LFD) or any similar kind of login failure daemon?

If so... the only way to unblock yourself is to log in as root using a different IP address from the one that is blocked and remove the Denied/blocked IP address from the pool table.

Visit myipaddress.com and note your current IP. Login to your server from an IP other than your own local IP and remove your IP from the firewall.
