How install WHM/CPANEL in Fedora 6 ?

Hi,
I'm new here, and I need your help.
I just bought a server, and I rent a WHM/Cpanel License.
When I install WHM/Cpanel like the installation Guide:
To install cPanel and WHM
Make sure you are logged in as root.
# cd /home
# wget http://layer1.cpanel.net/latest
# sh latest
All is done, but nothing happends. That means, I have nothing with my browser.
when I type: http://91.xxx.xx.xxx:2086/ or http://mydomaine.net:2086 I have nothing.
Could you tell me if I must do something else ?

were there any errors while installing ?

check the installation log for more details. also, you can try :

ps ax | grep cpanel

at shell as root to see if any cpanel process is running. Alternatively, try

/etc/rc.d/init.d/cpanel restart

seems like cpanel is installed. check if it is running on ports:

netstat -apn | grep 2082

cpanel is running and is listening on your server port. you either have a firewall block inside the server, which can be cleared by the command:

iptables -F
--------------------

or a port block on your local machine. Disable all your firewall and try accessing cpanel at http://IP:2082 and hopefully you will have the results. If this works, then 2086 should also work.

in the meantime, also do:

/etc/rc.d/init.d/iptables save

so that the firewall does not come back again.
