How to Move a Staging Website to a Production Website?

Hi there,

I have searched high and low but cannot find the answer...

I have "dev.mywebsite.com" and "mywebsite.com" cPanel accounts. The first obviously is where we setup the site and prepared it for launch. The second is the actual public site (production site). Both are running on the same server. The app is Wordpress and is of course using MySQL.

Is it a matter of moving the accounts using WHM? Or do I use ftp? And to be clear, its fine to delete the contents of "mywebsite.com".

It is better to copy files and databases from dev to your production site.
