Angry How to point my own domain to my own DNS server

How to point my own domain to my own DNS server
Would you please explain why when I type "myname.com" with login "2086" I get no response ; but if I type the "I.P.address" with login"2086" it then opens up the program.

can you please help me to set in up for me

you go to your registrar account where the name is registered and you change the domain's nameservers to the namservers that you assigned and setup. Those nameservers must of course resolve to a server that named is running on and a valid entry for the domain that's being called. But that is basically all there is to it. Just like any other domain.

well you need some sort of record on the namserver that is expected to point traffic of this domain somewhere. Typically if you set that domain up on the server as an account and you are using that machine as a namserver also ..then the dns zone will be there.

on the other hand if you plan to use a domain you have specifically for WHM / cpanel only ..you can simply create a dns zone for that domain and point it to ANY ip on the server and technically that will work for any whm/cpanel/webmail imap/pop3/ftp service. After all ..it just gets translated into the IP after dns resolution.
