Default how to preserve www. and http:// in account urls?

I'm pretty lost on this one, so I was hoping that someone here might have ideas..

We host a number of sites for various customers off cpanel webservers, and one customer's domain constantly removes the www. and http:// extensions from urls. They want to preserve these extensions, and so I've been trying to figure out why only this domain is removing them.

Looked over their account settings and dns records etc, but I'm not 100% sure what I'm looking for... any ideas?

Question Re: how to preserve www. and http:// in account urls?

What do you mean, removing them? Are you saying if you went to www.theirdomain.com it changes in your address bar to theirdomain.com?

This sounds like either something in the account .htaccess file, or a configuration in the website software itself. What are they using for the website?

Yes, that's exactly what I mean. sorry if its not wholly clear.

So you think either the .htaccess file, or something on their end?

    Thanks for the response!

    Hello,

Are you sure it removes "http"? It's not possible. Though, if you browse any site in Chrome, it wont show "http://" part.

If that is a WordPress site, ask the client to change the blog address under Settings to http://www.domain-name.tld/ instead of http://domain-name.tld/ . If it is not a WP site, check .htaccess and comment out the redirection code.
